Coconuts are a popular snack in the Dominican Republic, and can be sold for their milk, meat, and oil. With this loan, Flavia will purchase more coconuts to sell at a small markup to her customers. She is the coordinator for her group, Porvenir Femenino (Future Women), which has had several loans in the past with an excellent repayment record. |
